HANGZHOU, China, July 14, 2022 /PRNewswire/ NetEase makes exclusive digital deals with the French and Argentinian football teams for the 2022 World Cup. | NetEase, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES and HKEX: 9999, “NetEase” or “the Company”) announced today that NetEase Media, the Company’s well-established internet media platform, has partnered with the French Football Federation (FFF) and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) to be their exclusive online media partner in China and provide interactive content about the teams for the 2022 World Cup.
Under the terms of the agreements, NetEase Media will send custom content for the two well-known football teams to media outlets in China during the World Cup. NetEase Media will, among other things, have video chats with players and coaches of the teams to discuss and predict how the tournament will go. They will also make documentaries about well-known players like Lionel Messi. Also, interactive posts and discussions on NetEase’s platforms will give Chinese fans of both teams a closer look at their favorite football players.
